    7:30pm, Griffith Uni Bar, 23 July is the first of our brand new, monthly stand up comedy shows featuring some of the best comedians from around the country! Kicking things off we are thrilled to welcome a fantastic double bill with Luke Heggie (SYD) and Ben Darsow (PERTH) taking the stage! Luke Heggie started stand up comedy in 2010. Since then he has toured Australia and abroad, performed at the Sydney Opera House for Just for Laughs, and in support of Stephen Merchant, and sold out festivals across Australia. He has written and performed 5 solo shows since 2012 at festivals across Australia and New Zealand. Luke won RAW Comedy in 2010, Time Out Sydney's Best Comedian in 2012, and Sydney Comedy Festival's Director's Choice Award in 2015.He is fast becoming one of Australia's most in demand and recognisable stand up comics. 'Unique, powerful, and insightful.’ Sydney Morning Herald Ben Darsow is an internationally touring comedian from Adelaide who delivers laugh-out-loud observational and improvised standup. In 2015 he headlined shows in the US, Canada, England, Kuala Lumpur and even Burma! Recently nominated for Best Comedy in the 2016 Perth Fringe World, Ben presents a disarming and hilarious blend of spontaneous crowd work with cleverly crafted observational material.
