The Shows

Lauren Bonner Elephant

The day my Nan died, I hosted an all-female comedy night in Brisbane. It did not bring her back to life.

Elephant is a show about chaos, volcanoes, ghosts and trying to be ok with giving up control.

Lauren Bonner returns to the Gold Coast with a brand-new hour of her hilariously dry and cheeky brand of comedy. Lauren is one half of 'Big Natural Talents', a comedy podcast launched in 2021 that has instantly gained a cult following of loyal girlies. As a stand-up, Lauren is a well known regular on the club circuit, gigging year-round at Sydney’s famous Comedy Store, theatres, festivals such as Splendour in the Grass and dirty pubs alike. Young, old, confused or even sometimes downright aggressive, Lauren Bonner has reliably charmed audiences across Australia and internationally with her disarming crowdwork and sharp observational style.

Recently Lauren has appeared on several programs on the ABC, Channel 7 and Stan. You may know her voice from triple j or as a guest on comedy podcasts such as Wil Anderson’s 'FOFOP' and more. She also worked on A Life in Questions: Wisdom School with Aaron Chen (Adult Swim), and is the founder/editor of comedy writing magazine Birdbrain Quarterly.

Most importantly though, she is very funny and likes to tell little jokes.

'One of the most memorable bits of the festival season.' Sydney Morning Herald
